Yes! I know they like to say NYC is the fifth lady, but I think it might be Carrie's hair. :)

This was such a great, fresh window onto Carrie and "Sex and the City"!

I may be the only dude that comments on this, but I enjoyed this post. I remember watching Sex and The City (with my ex wife) and it was a blast! I was already a fan of SJP from her time on Square Pegs, and also of Kim Catrall (Loved her in Big Trouble in Little China and Mannequin)... so it made the show even more enjoyable. Cheers!

I’m in a rewatch currently. (Ive never watched season 1 in its entirety! I know: shame on me) this was the perfect curly companion to the rewatch. Can we also talk about her accessories as an indication of her character development. Carries hair: season 1-3 vs. Carries accessories: season 4-6? 😉

Highly recommend checking out Season 1 one day--it's fascinating to see how the show changed from those early episodes.

And which accessories from the later seasons? Totally drawing a blank! From the early seasons, the Carrie necklace and giant flower pins immediately come to mind.

Yes! I just finished the first season and it’s really interesting to see how Carrie and Big and Carrie’s friendships are so young and yet to evolve.

Accessories: the shoes thought the entire series, the ring (how she wears the ring given to her from Aidan first on her finger and then as a necklace), her headbands, hats and purses during her time with Jack Berger. her wardrobe mostly coats and jackets during her Aleksander Petrovsky phase. And then it kind of comes back to the necklaces during the finale episode. A lot to unpack! ❤️
